 We suggest a good meal before your dental treatment, because until the numbness has worn off, eating is not recommended as whilst chewing, you may bite your tongue or the inner tissue of your mouth.

As Hungary is an EU country, you can claim your tax back on your dental treatment in the same way as you would at home. All you need to do is to bring a med2 form with you and your Hungarian dentist will complete it when your treatment is finished. It is important to know, however, that not all treatments are included. This exclusion applies to: scale and polish, fillings, extractions, dentures, implants (except in circumstances relating to periodontal treatment).
