Dental in Hungary
  • Fantastic, professional, and friendly service through-out.
Would highly recommend and I would definitely return again. The dentist was very patient and everything was explained prior to treatment, including the costs.
The friendly receptionist even gave me a call - as I had left something behind.
    Fantastic. Thank you.

Crowns and bridges

Dental In Hungary offer patients the opportunity to restore their beautiful smile and enhance functionality with custom-made crowns.

Crowns are used in restorative (or functional) and cosmetic dental treatments. A custom-made crown fits over the prepared existing natural tooth and replaces the natural crown, which is the part of the tooth that is visible above the gums.A new crown adds strength, durability and tooth stability, as well as enhancing the appearance of the tooth.

Crowns are often required when a tooth has been severely weakened and is no longer structurally sound due to tooth decay, previous root canal therapy or wear over time. This cosmetic dental treatment can also be used to brighten and improve the appearance of one’s smile by covering broken, chipped, stained or discoloured teeth or by modifying the shape of a tooth. Porcelain crowns are custom-made for each individual patient and can be matched to existing teeth making them a perfect cosmetic dental treatment option.

Crowns can be made of porcelain, zirconium, gold and other metals,  or mix of these materials.

The process of constructing a crown consists of three parts . During the first time the existing tooth is prepared for the crown, impressions are taken and a temporary crown is placed over the prepared tooth. At the second part is the test of the framework and chosen the colour as rest of the teeth.  And during at the third part the temporary crown is replaced by the new crown which is fitted, adjusted and cemented in place, providing a more permanent natural looking aesthetic solution.

Bridges

If you are missing 1, 2, or 3 teeth in a row, with teeth at either end, you may be a candidate for a bridge. A bridge is the most common choice to fill the space in your mouth left by missing teeth. If left unfilled, this space can cause the surrounding teeth to drift out of position and can cause teeth and gums to become more susceptible to tooth decay and gum disease that can cause further tooth loss. Fixed bridges can correct an altered bite, improve your chewing ability, and improve your speech.

Bridges are recommendable if a dental gap originates from dental loss and the chewing function and aesthetics suffers from it. Two teeth which limit the dental gap are polished and used to the steady anchorage of the bridge. The bridge exists of the joined pillar crowns and the connecting piece.

In the first step two neighbouring teeth are polished. The impression goes to the engineer, that produces the scaffolding; this is tried by the dentist on the dental butt. After some corrections the porcelain on the scaffolding is burnt and from the dentist tried up; after set of teeth tests and some postcorrections the bridge is stuck finally.
